"There is nothing in this lifetime anyone can tell you that God hasn't already tried to
whisper in your ear" -D.
I am a born and raised Southern Californian who spent most of my life working as a
freelance photographer and designer (danapalmer.com).
I have experienced loss, divorce, numerous geographical moves, being a stepmom,
working in the non profit and corporate sectors, and being an entrepreneur.
Several years ago I started hosting vacation guests at my cottage
(The Coastal Farmhouse Suite) in Mexico Beach, Florida.
On October 10, 2018 Hurricane Michael hit, and I lost my cottage and business in one day.
Sometimes things come apart so we have the opportunity to put them back together in a new way.
I am an introvert with a large spirit, a deep soul, and a passion for life.
I use my tapestried personal and professional life experience as a way to understand
the trials of others, offering honest and fluid conversation as a path to insight and shift.
The hurricane taught me many things, one of which is that each of us
has some version of a "hurricane" in our life-
something that engages us to refer to ourselves as victim, survivor, or "thriver."
With perspective, we can rewrite any story of our life in this way.
It is very difficult in our culture not to struggle with balance and external pressure,
asking ourselves...if we have all that we want, then why aren't we happy?
My clients dare to ask this question in the area or areas
of their life that aren't connecting.
And, are willing to look beyond the surface for happiness.
We all deserve to feel connected to ourselves, our loved ones, and our lives.
I invite you to reach out. I look forward to working with you,
